Bamboo Forest

I love these colors, and as a gardener I see in this piece all kinds of beautiful earthy elements: Leaf mulch, changing seasons, golden colors and death and renewal. Day glow colors play with the richness of sienna, ochre and orange. On other viewings, I see the Anthroposcene: A moment in geologic time, tracking the most recent period in Earth's history when human activity began to have a significant impact on the planet's climate and ecosystems. There’s even a a volcanic glow that warns us there is more happening in this Bamboo Forest, a warning perhaps that the planet is heating up!
