Follow Your Heart

This piece was inspired by my first love Michael, my soul mate. Unfortunately, the dream of living happily ever after wasn't to be. But when we first met, fireworks erupted. I have treasured for years, a small card that Michael created with a mandala as a symbol of our love. This is my own mandala of love with primed and painted wood, brass jewelry stampings and watercolor. Michael had once told me to “follow my heart” and this is my rendition of just that.
